CHAPTER THREE
The train trip to London, which begins so uneventfully, does not remain so for long. Morris makes a new and interesting acquaintance, who is curious about the architect's project...and somewhat unlucky, it seems.
Small gangs of angry, violent men seek to overthrow governments and plunge Europe into war.
One world is quickly falling away, while a new and far more dangerous one stands ready to take its place.
As the 19th Century closes, one man stands ready to uphold the honor of his country, preserve the worthy values of the past and use his considerable wits to stay alive. G. Morris Moneypenny--architect, scholar and true Renaissance Man--combines creativity and intelligence with the comon-sense and well-grounded humor of a quintessential Englishman.
Thrust into a world of unpredictable anarchists, deadly arms development and political intrigue, Morris discovers that his first major commission holds far more than a country house in store. It's a blueprint for self discovery...and danger at every turn.
